Matthew was extremely helpful throughout the purchasing process, from actively helping me to find a suitable property through to ensuring that my purchase was finalised asap, which he did by coming to me after office hours on a Friday so that I could sign the contract. Due to his level of service and the experience I had with Matthew I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to other buyers and sellers.

Matthew Ellis of George Brand Avoca, did a brilliant job selling our property at Copacabana. Ever since I mentioned to him, a couple of years back, that we were thinking about selling, he would call every few months to keep me updated about the market status in the area. He was never pushy and from our first conversation, I always felt comfortable chatting with him and sensed he was honest and reliable. When we decided the time was right, Matthew was the logical choice, and we weren't disappointed. Everything went exactly as Matthew explained and we ended up selling the property not only quickly, but at a price quite a bit higher than we had hoped for. Everything from Matthew's advice on marketing the property, through to his help negotiating with prospective buyers to reach a final price, worked as he described, making the whole process very painless. It felt like Matthew was really working with us to get the very best outcome. We first meet Matthew 11 months ago at an open house when we first started our housing search, 11 months later we finally found a place. At that first open house I was very impressed with Matthews market and area knowledge and attention to detail, but the thing that really got me was his follow up, after each open he'd be on the phone to see how things went and if we were interested. Throughout our search Matthew would always let us know of new properties coming onto the market and arrange private inspections if the times didn't line up. I work in the customer service industry myself and I must say I've never receive such a high level of service from anyone I've dealt with. As it turns out we brought our new house from Matthew after that long search and of coarse had no hesitation in listing our old place with Matthew, Matt sold our place in just 3 weeks and that was due to his hard work, outstanding customer service and going the extra mile. We cant recommend Matthew Ellis highly enough for buying or selling your home.
